Installing the InterBase 2017 Server Edition
- Download InterBase to your local computer or server.
- Extract the .zip file to a new directory.
- On Windows, run the installation program, install_windows.exe
- On Linux, run install_linux_x86.sh on x86 system for 32bit Edition, and, install_linux_x86_64.sh on x86_64 system for 32bit or 64bit Edition
- On macOS, from Finder App double-click ib_install_macOS.zip, or, run install_macOS.sh from command-line to install from Terminal App shell window
- During the installation process, you will be prompted to enter the InterBase serial number.
