Description
By default ER/Studio does not create indexes for foreign keys. When generating a physical model from the logical model, in the wizard you can select the option to generate index for foreign keys. Basically then in the logical model or elsewhere and at other times such as DDL generation ER/Studio does not create indexes for foreign key columns. I have however written a macro that will create such indexes if they don’t exist. Attached is a macro that will create such indexes. You can edit it so that the index names conform to your organization’s naming standards.
