Description
|
This presentation made at the Sydney Australian Delphi User Group in November 2006 covers Live Templates in BDS 2006. Apologies for the slightly jumpy audio.
It starts with the basic uses of the existing templates, shows how to customise them, how to create new Live Templates and finally how to write a script engine that allows you to call your own Delphi code when a template is invoked.
Live Template script engines are useful for adding extra functionality to your live templates that isn't available in the box. They're reasonably easy to write and worth looking into if you're a big user of templates.
