Accuracer Database System is a Windows / Linux cross-platform DBMS product
with SQL support for software developers working in Borland Delphi / C++Builder
and Kylix (as well as in Microsoft Visual Studio .Net and Borland Delphi 8 for .Net).
Accuracer Database System is based on a new, fast, compact, embedded, single-file,
multi-user database engine.

Accuracer represents the next generation of our databases products line which
started more than free years ago with such highly famous and respected product
as EasyTable. Accuracer Database System includes a new original BDE alternative
database engine that supports the almost all TTable, TQuery, TDatabase, TSession
functions and provides some special ones to give you high functionality and ease
of use.

Accuracer is currently available for the Borland Delphi / C++Builder and Kylix
development environments in Single-User (SU), Multi-User (MU) and
Client-Server (CS) versions.
Also we plan to release .Net provider in the closest time.

Versions and Licenses
---------------------

VCL: versions for Delphi and C++ Builder
CLX: versions for Kylix

SU - single-user: allows one database connection only
MU - multi-user (file server database)
CS - client/server (client-server database)

Trial - for 1 developer. This version allows only two database connections.
It does not include Session and Query components.
You can test SQL functionality using Accuracer SQL Console utility.
Trial version is intended for evaluation only!
To develop your application you must buy one or more of the following
commercial versions:

Std - Standard - for 1 developer, without source code.
Pro - Professional - for 1 developer, includes full source code.
Team4 - for up to 4 developers, includes full source code.
Team8 - for up to 8 developers, includes full source code.
Ent - Enterprise - unlimited number of developers at one company,
includes full source code and free Upgrade Subscription for 12 months.

All commercial licenses are royalty free. It means you may develop any number
of applications for any number of users using this product without additional fees.


Installation
------------

1) Make sure that all copies of Delphi (or C++ Builder) are currently
closed and not running on the target system. Also, if you are
replacing an existing version of Accuracer, please remove all files and
the package of the prior version before running the new setup program.

2) Unpack zip archive containing Accuracer into any directory.

3) Run the INSTALL.EXE from this directory.

4) Follow on-screen instructions of step-by-step setup wizard to install
Accuracer.

5) If after the installation Accuracer components
don't appear in Components Palette of the IDE, please follow the next
instructions:

* From the IDE, select 'Component | Install Packages...'.
* Click the 'Add' button.
* In the ..\Accuracer\Lib\Delphi# (or ..\Accuracer\Lib\C++ Builder#) directory,
select the dclAccuracerD#.BPL (or dclAccuracerB#.BPL) file.
* Click the 'OK' button to close the dialog.
* Finally, select 'Tools | Environment Options' from the main menu. From this dialog,
select the 'Library' tab and insure that the
..\Accuracer\Lib\Delphi# (or ..\Accuracer\Lib\C++ Builder#) directory is
included in the 'Library Path' line.
