How do you set the default joystick values via a usb joystick. When the delphi app starts and reads the joystick via JoyGetPos it is setting it's self to some default value. It appears to be the movement of the button or stick that causes the operating system to read and thus populate the JoyInfo structure. I want to start with the joystick pushed over and a button depressed and actually detect this. Any ideas ?
In the old days I'd call the interrupt. Ive try'ed to force a windows message and have even considered somehow asking the USB controller to reset/reread.
