Description
Project: Project Preferences for C++BuilderX/JBuilder
Version: 0.1
Author: Gillmer J. Derge,

-----------------------------------------------------------------
DESCRIPTION

In both C++BuilderX and JBuilder, default project properties can be edited via the Project | Default Project Properties menu item. Many users have difficulty finding the settings there and feel that they would be more appropriately located on the main IDE Preferences dialog.

This tool adds a tab to the IDE Preferences dialog that includes all the settings that are available on the Default Project Properties dialog. Note that this does not replace or remove the Default Project Properties dialog. It still exists. The tool simply makes the same settings available in another place.

For more information about C++BuilderX or JBuilder, including FAQ's and workarounds, please visit the Borland Community web site or try searching on your problem at http://search.borland.com.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
INSTALLATION

Installation is quite simple. Put the Jar file, ProjectPreferences.jar, into the lib/ext subdirectory of your C++BuilderX or JBuilder installation. On Windows, this will typically be C:\CBuilderX\lib\ext. C++BuilderX will need to be restarted before the tool begins working.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
THINGS TO DO...

o Include source code in a future version. For the time being there are legal reasons that the source code can not be distributed.

o Consider adding an option to put project preferences on the Editor Options dialog instead of the IDE Preferences dialog.
