Description
This is a sample project showing the development and the use of a component with a new property of the class TPersistent that never returns an invalid value and is written to and read from a stream together with the component instance. There is shown, that the application programmer never needs to check the validity of a property. By comparing the manually added properties of the sample form and the non-visible sample component you can see the differences between read-only, read-write properties and the difference between properties producing copies of or pointers to other instances even with the same operator ":=".
