Description
This unit allows the programmer to avoid the generation of FPU exceptions due to bad arguments (e.g. out-of-range). Instead of throwing an exception, a pre-defined result (NaN, +/- infinity) is returned. Such functionality is essential in applications processing large amounts of floating-point data, such as signal processing or image anlysis.
