Description
The Drag and Drop Component Suite is a collection of 20 components which enables your Delphi and C++ Builder application to leverage all aspects of COM based inter application drag and drop.

With the help of the Drag and Drop Component Suite your applications can drag and drop data to and from other applications such as Explorer (files), Netscape and Internet Explorer (hyperlinks), Word (text), Excel (tabular data), Outlook (attachments) and PhotoShop (images) just to mention a few.

The component suite currently supports more than 40 different data formats, such as text, HTML, RTF, bitmaps, meta files, URLs, files, shortcuts and PIDLs. Support for custom formats can easily be added with very little code.

In addition to basic drag/drop functionality, the components also provides advanced features such as clipboard cut/copy/paste, delete-on-paste, optimized move, asynchronous (threaded) data transfers, drag images, auto scroll and support for shell extensions such as drop handlers, drag drop handler and context menus.

The components are freeware and full source as well as 17 demo applications are included in the installation kit.
